Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 & 1/2 cups flour
- (1) 8-oz package of cream cheese
- 1 large container of cool whip
- 1 cup of powdered sugar
- (1) 6-oz or (2) 3.4-oz packages of instant lemon pudding
- 3 cups of milk
1. Mix 3/4 cup melted butter and 1 & 1/2 cups flour and press into bottom of 9 x 13 in pan. Bake 15 minutes at 375 degrees F. Let cool.
2. Mix one 8-oz package of cream cheese, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 cup cool whip.
3. Spread on top of cooled crust.
4. Mix one large (6 oz) or two small (3.4 oz) instant lemon pudding and 3 cups milk until thick.
5. Spread on top of cream cheese mixture.
6. Spread remaining cool whip on top.
7. Refrigerate several hours.
I recently used banana pudding mix instead of lemon and added a layer of fresh bananas. It was a major hit. One girl deemed it "Banana Goodness" so I guess that means she liked it. Highly recommended!!
